A few weekends ago High Springs hosted the Pioneer Days, complete with old west shoot out.

Light

A few nights a week Bill and I try to wind down and walk through our property together. The other evening it was just the perfect time for beautiful light.

Dogwoods

Well, the dogwoods have just dropped all their flowers here at my house. But I love when they bloom every year. It's always a little sad to me to see them go.

Inverness

When Bill and I went to pick up his tractor a couple months ago we stopped by Brooksville and Inverness and I snagged a few pictures. I just loved how these came out. I don't know why but I really like buildings, places, and old signs that have history (or at least appear to to me).

These are some pretty old hotels here in High Springs. Who's ever heard of the Cadillac Motel, huh?

Alachua

I ran across some pictures from a month or so ago when I was in Alachua with my family. I really liked the feel of the bubblegum machine and the old car that came cruising through town as we were waiting for a table at lunch.

This weekend my sister and I drove down to Lakeland for her to pick out a wedding dress. While I can't post those pictures, here are a few of my favorites from the engagement shoot with her and James. These were taken in Lakeland around Lake Mirror. The weather was beautiful and it turned out to be a great afternoon.
